The follwoing photos were taken by Vince Skibo, on September 28, 2016, just after they were brought down from Kasgro’s uptown New Castle facility by New Castle Industrial Rail (MCIR) and interchanged to CSXT’s New Castle yard. They will soon make their way out into the world for the very first time.

KRL 164003 shows a builder date of 06-16, while KRL 164004 shows a builder date of 07-16.

Both cars are 164’ 02” long with a 40’ 00” deck. They have a Light Weight of 339,100 lbs. and a Load Limit of 800,900 lbs. They are Class “FD” with a Plate “G” end profile.
