These photos were taken on November 23 2001, at the Waukesha Electric facility in Milpitas, CA. They were taken before, during, and after a large down pour. It is the first time that I have taken pictures with an umbrella in the other hand. This is the old North American Transformer plant which manufactures large power transformers, through 800 MVA and 345 kV.

Ready for Local Deliverly

These photos were taken in September, at the Waukesha Electric facility in Milpitas, CA. This is the old North American Transformer plant which manufactures large power transformers, through 800 MVA and 345 kV.

As usual, where there is something good to shoot, I am taking photos into the sun. I think that there are shots of the B end on a roll that needs developing. QTTX 130588 loaded with a large transformer.

Two different shipments taken in 2000, both smaller transfromers on regular flatcars.

These photos of transformer loads were sent to me by S.R. Gohman. The are used with his permission.
