These cars were developed to haul a set of wing sections from the factory in Toronto to the
final assembly point in Long Beach.
The following photos were sent to me by Richard Boyce. Richard
found the UP wing car along Hardy Toll Roard in
Houston, TX. The photos are used here with Richard's permission.
A couple of years ago, Overland made an HO scale model of these cars. It was available in both
painted and undecorated.
