  1. Heavier loads are permitted when shipments move only on Southern Pacific lines (including Cotton Belt) and certain connecting carriers. For information, contact your nearest Southern Pacific Traffic representative.

  3. Maximum load is 66,000 pounds when load is evenly distributed over 18' at center of car. Load limit increases to 115,000 pounds when load is evenly distributed between bolsters. Stenciled load limit (or heavier, see footnote (1)) is allowable when load is distributed over full length of car.
