The following picture was sent to me by David Cottenden, it was taken by Bob LeRoux of Consumers Energy. The company that David works for moved an 803,900 lb transformer (that is shipping wgt. normal weight oil filled is 987,800lbs) locally in the Houston TX area, in April of 1999. Transformer is 489 inches long 146" wide 223" high stripped down to ship.



The following picture was taken by Bob LeRoux of Consumers Energy. "This move I made about 13 years ago. We were moving a transformer that weighed 865,000 lbs. from on of our plants near Midland Mi., to another plant near South Haven, Mi. The bridge crosses the Muskegon River at Newaygo, Mi. The total weght of CPOX-820 and transformer was 1,295,000 lbs."
