Based upon my research, the following Schnabel cars have been, and or are still in service. I am still researching to see if there are any other schnabel cars besides those listed here, are in existence.

Notes:
  1. These cars were originally built for Combustion Engineering Inc., but are now owned by ABB, through an acquisition.
  2. These former Westinghouse cars are now owned by ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), and lettered with the reporting marks PTDX. The future of these cars is undetermined, because ABB announced the closing of the Muncie Plant in December 1997. These cars will probably be sold to a leasing company.
  3. In June of 1998, Morrison Knudsen Corporation and BNFL purchased Westinghouse Electric Company from CBS Corporation. This includes the nuclear division, which this car was assigned to.
  4. In August 1998, Siemens purchased Westinghouse Power Generation from CBS. The new company will be known as Westinghouse Power Generation, and will be headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
  5. This car is formerly the PTDX/WECX 200.
  6. This car requires two 6 axle flat cars for the structure to be mounted on for the trip.
