Even though Waukesha does not have any of its own flat cars, I have seen their transformers on QTTX and LNAL depressed flat, QTTX flat and TTPX bulkhead flats and even on a Wisconsin Central and UP flat cars. Not all of the transformers are shipped via rail, some are shipped locally via truck.

A couple of shot of the buildings taken in 2000 by Tom Daspit. I have seen transformers shipped on depressed, bulkhead and relgular flats. The largest being 8 axle flat cars.

More photos of loaded flats at the Milpitas plant are on my other web page.
