GOOD NEWS - Delivery has started on 3,000 all-steel, 50-ton box cars which the Southern ordered from the Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company a year ago. All-welded, built in Pullman-Standard's Bessemer, Alabama, shops, the cars will cost about $11 million.
