There are no leaves on the trees today where this picture was taken but Train No.46 will be crossing this bridge, as it was when the picture was made, with a load of satisfied passengers riding in the beautiful new cars with which .'The Tennessean" has been equipped.

The bridge shown is the one spanning the Holston River at MP 114.5 near Strawberry Plains, Tenn., on the Knoxville division. It's a railroad bridge -didn't cost the taxpayers a penny. The scene is one as restful to the pocketbook of taxpayers as it is to the eye of those who might view it.
