ON THE COVER
Rolling across Cumberland River Bridge near Somerset, Ky., on its southbound run to Florida, the New Royal Palm makes a graphic illustration.
Although this luxurious Great Lakes- to-Florida winter-season streamliner made its final run of the 1951-1952 winter vacation season several weeks ago, the Southern still operates other excellent trains to Florida. And, of course, it has a great fleet of modern, comfortable, diesel-powered trains serving most Southern cities and towns.
