A printed and punched cardboard rectangle that resulted from the Southern's 20-year search for a better passenger ticket is the object of the admiring attention of the two gentlemen pictured on Ties' cover.
T. H. Seay (left), comptroller, and E. E. Barry, general passenger traffic manager, have reason to be pleased with the new ticket that went on sale at Southern Railway ticket offices on October. It promises greater convenience to customers and streamlined accounting methods.
