ON THE COVER
The modern Southern Railway System has many women in its "family" who help carryon the wide variety of work entailed in operating a fine and efficient railroad organization. Most of them are employed in offices.
The lady on this month's cover is Mrs. P. H. (Ruby) Moreland who first entered Southern service in the division offices in Selma, Alabama. In Washington for a number of years, Mrs. Moreland is now secretary to one of our assistant auditors. A major part of her work involves the handling of retirement and unemployment records.
