Coming or going, a train makes a pretty picture as it rounds a curve.
To a shipper or a receiver with freight riding in this train an even prettier picture would be a view inside the cars showing the cargo neatly stowed and firmly braced.
That, plus an assurance that the cars would be handled carefully all along the route, would go a long way toward convincing our shipper customers that there's none better than Southern Railway services.
This is byway of a reminder that April, traditionally "Perfect Shipping Month," is half over. But no matter. There are 11 other months in the year all full of opportunities to handle our customers' goods carefully.
