This eye-catching assortment of 1958 Chevrolet Corvettes was part of a shipment of 52 of the sports models Southern Railway delivered recently at Charlotte, N. C. The movement, originating at St. Louis, Mo., totaled 13 carloads and was described as the largest single delivery of sports cars ever made in the Carolinas. Adding further beauty to the scene is the current "Miss Charlotte" (Teresa Blanchett). (Photo by the CHARLOTTE NEWS)

Harrison, leafing through a tariff - like book. Both men have since retired, according to Charles R. Harrison, son of Mr. Harrison, who sent TIES the picture.
