Whether taking a vacation trip, visiting friends or relatives, or traveling for any other reason, families as well as individuals will soon have some "stretch" added to their trip budgets when they go by Southern.
Effective the first of June Southern will introduce a special family-rate plan offering substantial savings for parents and their children traveling together. At the same time, round-trip fares for individuals will be lowered to one-and-a-half times the regular one-way fare.
Reducing the price of tickets can help attract new customers-but only good service will help us keep them. It's some- thing well worth remembering.
