The feature shows the new FCX feed mill and grain market at Barber, N.C. The Structure looms 135 feet over the surrounding countryside. Completed at a cost of over $4 million, the mill can manufacture 143 different kinds of feed and has a rated annual capacity of 125,000 tons. Grain storage capacity is 400,000 bushels. FCX, Inc. is a centralized farmer owned and farmer controlled cooperative operating in North and South Carolina with headquarters in Raleigh, N.C.
