Southern Scenes The feature shows a Southern rail train with 7.3 track miles of 132-lb. new welded rail being laid across Norfolk Southern's 5 - mile Albemarle Sound Bridge and represents one of the upgrading programs on Norfolk Southern where 125 miles of welded rail has been laid since 1974.
